In the 90's David Lynch reinvented the way we look at TV when he created the show "Twin Peaks". By using mystery, compelling and complex characters and a nod to the supernatural he hooked the entire nation. Then he wandered off to work on another project and the second season sucked and it got cancelled leaving us with a cliff hanger. THEN he had the opportunity to make a movie and, rather than address the cliff hanger he made it a prequel.

After that train wreck of disappointment it took ten years before anyone tried a show like that again. Now Lost has come to a close and we are left with many questions ("Why is Walt magic?" "Who built the four toed statue?") that will probably never be answered.
