Were it not for AIDS Freddy Mercury would still be making music, Magic Johnson would still be hosting a talk show and Pedro Zamora would still be raising AIDS awareness. But perhaps the greatest loss to this world is the death of film maker Tom Rubnitz who created the short film “Pickle Surprise”. Rubnitz died in 1992 at the age of 36. Had he survived we may have gotten the answer to the ever elusive pondery; Where’s the pickle? It's not every day you run into someone who knows what Pickle Surprise is.
