Once upon a time there was a Prince. He was the laziest prince you did ever see. He would wake up around noon and stay in his pajamas until about two o’clock. Then he would get into a bath and stay there until the water got cold. Then he would add more hot water and wait until that got cold. Then he would go into the garden to a special corner that only he knew about. He would pick a special herb and then return to his Princely room. He would stay in there with the windows shut for about an hour and a half, and then he would come out, eat an entire bag of crisps, and then return to his room for the night.
Everyone in the land of Sofa knew how lazy the Prince was. One day, the Prince’s father died, and the entire kingdom began to wonder, “What will things be like now that the Lazy Prince is the Sofa King?” Before they day was out, they got their answer. The King decreed that special herbs would now be legal, and that he was naming his father’s advisor as Lord Reagent of the kingdom, to rule in his stead. He then returned to his room, but this time he left the windows open. |
