How many old people have to die before people realize that Jay Leno is not funny? It’s not entirely Jay’s fault; he’s got some bad writers on his show and you can’t be funny when you have nothing but bad jokes to tell. However, Jay Leno has to wake up every morning and look in the mirror and know that he has spit out some of the most painful garbage the world has ever heard in front of a live audience and millions of viewers. Someone get that guy a revolver and a moment of clarity.
Conan O’Brien used to write for the Simpson at a time when that, itself, was not a punch line to a joke. He wrote for Saturday Night Live during one of their less painful periods. Conan is funny. Support Conan and cross your fingers that NBC night time TV will tank so badly that Conan, himself, can buy the network with the pension they paid him. |
