Did you know that the guy who played Rorschach (And the new Freddy Krueger) auditioned for the part of one of the kids in the original Nightmare on Elm Street? He asked his friend, Johnny Depp, to bring him to the audition. When the producers saw Depp they cast him instead. But this is not the first example of a friend being judged to be more attractive than their respective counterpart. The first case dates back to 1743 when, while out riding in his carriage Sir Ernest Rumplehairen spotted a young peasant girl attempting to cross the wet, muddy road. Sir Rumplehairens carriage driver, Jackson Hammercock, informed the Sir that there was an old horse blanket in the back of the carriage that the Sir could use should he grow cold without his coat. The young maiden said that Hammercocks offer was the sweetest thing she had ever heard, and proceeded to fellate him
